WARDOGS is heading into its third season with a new battlefield, a fairer way to play, and one of the biggest anti-cheat actions the tactical FPS has seen since launch.

Bulkhead and publisher Team17 announced on November 6 that WARDOGS Season 3 will launch on November 12, bringing a brand-new urban map, the introduction of Limited Mode and a renewed focus on progression and stability for the 100-player tactical FPS.

Season 3 takes the fight into close-quarters urban combat, with a fresh map for the entire community to learn together. Combined with a season wipe, adjustments to progression and a longer overall season length, the update aims to recapture the shared discovery that defined the game’s Early Access launch.

Limited Mode offers a more level playing field, with restrictions on weapons, ammunition, armour and vehicles. Planned restrictions include FMJ-only ammunition, a Tier 2 armour cap and a reduced attack vehicle selection. Cash and XP earned in Limited Mode carry into the default mode and vice versa.

Bulkhead is also moving to three-month seasons and bringing progression closer to the pace of Season 1. CEO Joe Brammer said: “Season 3 is about giving players a new battlefield to learn together and a progression journey worth spending time on. Longer seasons give everyone more room to reach their own goals, and give us the time to properly develop what comes next. We’re also taking major action against cheating. Protecting the people who play WARDOGS fairly is essential to everything we’re building.”

Alongside the reveal, Bulkhead is activating further anti-cheat layers after analysing 187 million hours of gameplay, with a major ban wave covering 185,000 accounts as the game approaches four million players.

WARDOGS Season 3 launches November 12 on Steam.

Shueisha Games and Apog Labs have launched ATMOSFAR into Steam Early Access, a 1–4 player co-op sci-fi survival adventure set among the clouds of the alien planet Tycos.

Players explore floating islands and abandoned facilities, battle extraterrestrial creatures and take to the skies in flying machines called Wasps, all while building up a colossal customisable mobile airbase known as the Cloud Cruiser.

The Early Access launch, which arrived on October 29, follows the game’s reveal as a survival odyssey built around exploration, crafting and teamwork, with distinct biomes to discover across Tycos.

ATMOSFAR is available now on Steam for £22.49 / $24.99 / €25.49, with a 10% launch discount running for the first two weeks, through November 12.

Apog Labs is an indie studio based in Malmö, Sweden, and ATMOSFAR is published by Shueisha Games, the Tokyo-based games label founded in February 2022.
