The witching hour is almost here for Path of Exile players, and Grinding Gear Games is using the moment to rebuild the game’s endgame from the ground up.

Path of Exile: Covens of Umbra launches on November 13, 2026 (PST), the studio announced on November 7. Ancient covens have emerged from the shadows, bringing darkness, twisted Fates and forbidden powers that threaten to consume all who seek them.

Having condemned her homeland of Umbra to eternal darkness, the Coven Queen now seeks to claim Wraeclast. Her followers have spread across the continent, performing forbidden rituals around cauldrons filled with grisly offerings. Players hunt down the witches and aid Mora, a mysterious prisoner of the Coven Queen, in disrupting their rituals. Defeating the covens grants powerful Fates, which can be invoked to transform boss encounters into deadly trials in exchange for greater rewards. Up to three Fates can be invoked against a single boss.

The league also introduces the Wickerman, a twisted wooden effigy that lets players harvest the remains of defeated bosses and equip Viscera, grisly trophies that grant unique bonuses. More than 120 Viscera can be collected, and more than two dozen new campaign bosses join the game.

The endgame overhaul gives the Atlas distinct regions tied to different league mechanics, while Threads of Creation, a new system replacing Scarabs, lets players invest up to eight Threads into a single mechanic to raise its difficulty and rewards. The Atlas Passive Tree has been completely rebuilt for update 3.30 as well.

Covens of Umbra launches November 13 on PC and consoles.

Shueisha Games and Apog Labs have launched ATMOSFAR into Steam Early Access, a 1–4 player co-op sci-fi survival adventure set among the clouds of the alien planet Tycos.

Players explore floating islands and abandoned facilities, battle extraterrestrial creatures and take to the skies in flying machines called Wasps, all while building up a colossal customisable mobile airbase known as the Cloud Cruiser.

The Early Access launch, which arrived on October 29, follows the game’s reveal as a survival odyssey built around exploration, crafting and teamwork, with distinct biomes to discover across Tycos.

ATMOSFAR is available now on Steam for £22.49 / $24.99 / €25.49, with a 10% launch discount running for the first two weeks, through November 12.

Apog Labs is an indie studio based in Malmö, Sweden, and ATMOSFAR is published by Shueisha Games, the Tokyo-based games label founded in February 2022.
