Carrollwood Day visits Cardinal Newman on Friday night in a rematch with real history. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m., according to the Palm Beach Post Week 11 schedule.

The Post lists Carrollwood Day at 9-0 and Cardinal Newman at 6-2 for this Friday, Oct. 30 matchup in West Palm Beach. Its top games preview lists Carrollwood Day as No. 1 in Class 1A and Cardinal Newman as No. 4 in Class 2A.

That preview explains why this game leads the Palm Beach County slate. Cardinal Newman hosts undefeated Carrollwood Day in a rematch of the 2025 Class 1A state semifinal. Newman is the only team to beat Carrollwood Day the past two seasons, according to the Post. Newman won that semifinal 48-33, led 28-7 at the half, and went on to win the program’s first state title.

The Post also reported Carrollwood Day has outscored opponents by a combined 517-54 this season, while Newman’s defense has allowed just 14 total points in its past three wins, all against teams that had already clinched playoff spots.

The Post picks page added the local stake in plain terms, saying Cardinal Newman’s Open Division hopes hinge on a victory over Carrollwood Day. Friday night will settle whether the Crusaders can do it to the Patriots again.

Harrison at McEachern: Hoyas Visit the Indians for a Cobb County Friday Night

Harrison visits McEachern on Friday night in Powder Springs, in a Cobb County region game between two programs that know each other well.

McEachern’s schedule tells a strong October story. The Indians won at Hillgrove 27-24 and beat Campbell 38-6 in region play earlier this month, per MaxPreps results. That is a home team that has won a close one and a comfortable one, which is exactly the range a team needs at this point in the season. At home on Friday, McEachern will expect to set the physical tone.

Harrison’s job is to disrupt that comfort. The Hoyas need to match McEachern at the line of scrimmage, stay patient on offense, and avoid falling behind early in a tough road environment. In Cobb County region play, a two-score hole on the road is a hard climb.

If Harrison can keep this close into the second half, the pressure moves to the home team. If McEachern starts fast, the Indians can lean on the formula that has worked all month. Harrison at McEachern kicks off Friday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.
