Cuttaman 100gran rides his own new-wave in his vindicating rap hit, Bump My Music

Published

on

Charlotte, NC rap artist, Cuttaman 100gran, paid homage to his muses in his fiery new-wave hip-hop track, Bump My Music, release today on February 3rd.

Staying in the fast lane and riding his own wave, the artist that has been adding dynamism to the airwaves since 2019 carries hints of Kevin Gates, Rod wave, and Roddy Ricch in his sonic signature while scribing a fresh, grinding urban aesthetic, which balances hard hitting percussion and wavy reverb-heavy production.

Bump My Music, capable of adding adrenaline to any high-vibe hip-hop playlist, was recorded in The Playroom in Charlotte and engineered by Bungies.

Cuttaman 100gran said:

“When you have women in your life that are inspired by your stories, telling them becomes a lifestyle. Them being around me on a day-to-day basis makes every lyric that much more surreal. Their enthusiasm inspired the track.”

ABOUT

It all started in my dorm room in college in 2014. From there, I found the inspiration to build a worldwide audience with the mysterious sound quality and brutal comedic honesty in my music, create a brand that catches up with my musical creativity and make it a career.

My brand is called Polished Gods; we are refined, sophisticated and elegant; our virtues are passion, patience, persistence, purity, polish and the belief that no man or entity is bigger than god.
I take influence from Five Heartbeats, Lil Wayne, Kurt Cobain and Whitney Houston while continuing to be inspired by my collaborators, Calicoby, Von Bost, and Charmz, who also represent my brand.

So far in my career, I’ve opened for Pastor Troy in South Carolina, recorded records for Dr Dre and performed in front of 8,000 people at a concert in RockingHam, NC.
