Dave Curl Rides the Waves of Change with New Single ‘Riders’
Independent Australian-Swiss singer-songwriter and producer Dave Curl invites listeners on a sun-soaked journey with his latest single, ‘Riders’, released on October 10, 2024, via Running Wild Records. Known for his soulful fusion of folk, pop, and rock, Curl shifts gears with ‘Riders’, diving into a breezy, surf-rock vibe that feels like the perfect soundtrack to carefree coastal drives and sunset evenings. The inspiration for ‘Riders’ comes from Curl’s own 20-year love affair with surfing, sparked during a trip to Fuerteventura’s Riders surf school in 2023. “It’s about those perfect moments of peace and joy that come after hours of crashing waves and frustration,” Curl reflects. A far cry from the rebellious rock of his past, ‘Riders’ marks a new chapter in his career and offers a glimpse into what’s to come.

Kiki Celine’s journey to victory included a standout performance at the BAL Celebrity Game presented by Hennessy in December, an event curated by AfroFuture that brought together entertainment and sports enthusiasts.
The AfroFuture Rising Star Challenge serves as a platform to spotlight emerging artists and connect them with AfroFuture’s extensive audience. According to the organizers, the initiative aims to amplify the visibility of African artists. It features a social media submission contest, educational workshops, an exclusive playlist, and the chance to perform live at the iconic AfroFuture Festival.
With her latest win, Kiki Celine is poised to be one of the key names to look out for on the radar.
