Duck Side of the Moon Lands on PS5 on November 17 With Free Homegrown Update
Starbrew Games has announced that Duck Side of the Moon will launch on PlayStation 5 on November 17, completing the cozy platformer’s journey across every current platform. The PS5 edition arrives on the same day as Homegrown, a major free update for players on the game’s existing platforms, so newcomers and returning duck fans alike have something new waiting for them.
Already available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox, Duck Side of the Moon is a cozy 3D exploration platformer built entirely without combat, enemies or fall damage. Players guide Doug, a small duck with big horizons, as he glides across the lunar surface and floats between landing spots with his trusty flowercopter. It is a game designed to be explored at a waddle, not a sprint.
Life on the moon is deliberately gentle. Doug tends his moon garden, puts his own stamp on his spaceship and his home, and meets the characters who share his quiet corner of space. There is no fail state waiting at the bottom of a missed jump, just another garden bed to tend and another corner of the moon to wander into.
The Homegrown update grows that world further, adding new areas and characters, more customisation options, fresh story additions and new unlocks that open up at the halfway point of the story. Duck Side of the Moon launches on PlayStation 5 on November 17, with the free Homegrown update arriving the same day for PC, Switch, Switch 2 and Xbox players.

Mayday: The Survival Island Launches on Steam Today, Blending Pixel Survival With Cozy Homesteading
Mayday: The Survival Island has launched on Steam today, a hand-drawn pixel survival game that blends classic island survival with cozy homesteading. The game comes from Pequi Studio, the solo project of developer Rafael Zanchettin, and is published by indie.io.
Players take on the role of a plane crash survivor who washes up on the shore of a remote island with nothing to their name. From that first stretch of beach, the job is to build a life from scratch, farming crops, fishing the shallows, mining for raw materials, crafting tools and equipment, and cooking meals from whatever the island provides.
The island itself is anything but static. Seasons change across the year, storms roll in off the water, and fire can spread dynamically through the landscape, turning one careless moment into a real emergency. Three game modes and four difficulty levels let every player tune the challenge, whether they want a gentle homesteading escape or a far harsher fight to stay alive.
Progression comes through a skill tree and building upgrades that steadily turn a rough camp into a thriving homestead. Beneath the cozy surface, though, the island keeps its secrets: hidden mysteries, cultists and strange creatures all wait to be discovered, alongside animal friends that can be won over and even dressed up in costumes.
Mayday: The Survival Island is available now on Steam priced at $13.99, with a 20 percent launch discount bringing it down to $11.19 for the first week after launch. Players who like their survival games with a gentler, hand-crafted touch now have a new island to call home.
