Ottawa’s Daniel Ojo Unveils New Worship Project “Everything to Me — EP”
Ottawa-based gospel artist Daniel Ojo released his new project “Everything to Me — EP” on October 10, a four-song, 24-minute collection that distils the sound of one of Canadian gospel’s most distinctive worship leaders. The Nigerian-Canadian singer, known to his audience as The Psalmist, leads The Psalmist Music Ministry and signed with Tribl Records in 2025, a partnership that has carried his music to a fast-growing international audience.
The EP caps a prolific 2026 for Ojo. Through the year he has also released the singles “Most High” with Moses Akoh, described by GospelCentric as a powerful new worship anthem, “My Desire (Ps. 42:1)” with Grace Idowu, and “He Will Provide” with David Dam, alongside the album “Journey in Worship, Vol. 2” with Godswill Oyor. Each release has reinforced the identity that defines his ministry: extended, scripture-soaked worship led from the piano with an unmistakable intensity.
That identity has been recognised at the highest levels of Canadian Christian music. Ojo is a Juno and GMA Covenant Award-nominated artist: his album “Trust” was nominated for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year at the 2023 Juno Awards, and his following, more than 100,000 strong on Instagram alone, reflects how far his Ottawa-based ministry now reaches. His collaborations bridge continents, pairing Canadian gospel with leading voices from the Nigerian worship world he came from.
“Everything to Me — EP” is a compact statement of where Daniel Ojo stands in 2026: a psalmist with a growing catalogue, a global congregation, and a title that says everything about the priority behind the music.

Vancouver’s The Slower I Go Invite the Church Into “Holy Sanctuary”
Vancouver worship outfit The Slower I Go released their single “Holy Sanctuary” on March 20 through NRT Music, a song built less like a performance and more like a prayer meeting caught on record. Credited to The Slower I Go alongside Noah Priebe and Brooklyn Summer, the single was written by Logan Murph, Brooklyn Summer and Noah Priebe.
The song’s heartbeat is a simple, repeated cry: “Come through, come through, come through.” Rather than building toward a single big moment, “Holy Sanctuary” circles that refrain the way a congregation circles a prayer, letting repetition do the work of surrender. It is worship written for the room as much as for the listener, an invitation to slow down, as the band’s name suggests, and make space for God to move.
The Slower I Go is a four-piece made up of Noah Priebe, Brooklyn Summer, Dacey Lane and Logan York, and “Holy Sanctuary” has not been their only word in 2026. The year has also brought the singles “All Eyes On You” and “Rejoice,” and the group followed “Holy Sanctuary” with “SHOCK!,” a collaboration with Zane Walls that landed in NewReleaseToday’s new releases for the week of June 5, showing a band comfortable moving between intimate worship and bolder, pop-leaning territory.
Canada’s worship scene has always been at its strongest when its songs are born in local rooms, and The Slower I Go sound like exactly that: a Vancouver band writing from the middle of a praying community. “Holy Sanctuary” is their open door, and the invitation could not be simpler. Come through.
