BRAVE Combat Federation is taking its search for the next international names to Hungary, where a 12 bout card in Székesfehérvár will give Hungarian fighters a home stage against visitors from across the region, with three CombatX championships on the line at the top of the night.

BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, will take its ROAD TO BRAVE series to Hungary through a partnership with CombatX on Friday, November 13, at MET Aréna in Székesfehérvár, Hungary.

Mohammed Shahid, President of BRAVE Combat Federation, stated:

“ROAD TO BRAVE is about giving deserving athletes the opportunity to show the world what they can do and prove they belong on a bigger stage. We are committed to creating competitive matchups that bring out the best in every participant. We want every fighter to have the chance to showcase their talent, rise to the challenge and take another step toward an international career. Those who seize that opportunity will have our support as they pursue the next level.”

Őze Balázs, President of CombatX, stated:

“We are proud to work alongside BRAVE CF in giving Hungarian fighters the opportunity to showcase their abilities on an international platform. This is only the beginning of what we hope will be a long-term partnership, and we are working toward hosting a full BRAVE CF event in Hungary in 2027. We believe this collaboration can open more doors for our athletes and help elevate Hungarian MMA on the global stage.”

Three inaugural CombatX Championship bouts will headline the 12-bout showcase. Balázs Kiss and Marcéu Peixoto will vie for the middleweight crown, while Lajos Papp is set to face Caio Cesar Araújo Barbosa for the light heavyweight title. Tarhan Ibragimov and Rodrigo Carlos will complete the marquee cast as they lock horns for the heavyweight belt.

Nine additional contests will feature Hungarian talent against challengers from neighboring countries, giving local competitors a chance to prove themselves against international opposition.

The Hungarian edition continues BRAVE CF’s grassroots approach to talent development through partnerships with regional promotions. By working with organizations such as CombatX, the initiative helps strengthen local MMA communities while connecting promising competitors to an international network.

Fans can catch all the action live on award-winning BRAVE TV. Check local listings for broadcast availability.

Namibia’s Veja Hinda needed just one head kick and 95 seconds to make the biggest statement of his young career at EFC 139 in Johannesburg. The undefeated prospect flattened experienced South African Godfrey Mkhwanazi in the main event, claimed a Performance Bonus, and led a night of Fight of the Night honours, unanimous decisions and first-round finishes at the World Sports Betting EFC Arena — with the full official results below.

Namibia has a new name making waves in African MMA.

Veja Hinda arrived at EFC 139 undefeated, facing the biggest test of his professional career against South Africa’s experienced Godfrey “FeralSpunky” Mkhwanazi. Just 95 seconds later, the Namibian had delivered a spectacular first-round knockout, claimed a Performance Bonus and announced himself as one of EFC’s most exciting emerging prospects.

Hinda had promised at Wednesday’s weigh-in that the fight would not go the distance. On Thursday night at the World Sports Betting EFC Arena, he delivered.

A devastating head kick brought the main event to an abrupt conclusion, sending Hinda’s supporters into celebration. The victorious Namibian was carried around the Hexagon with his country’s flag held high, a fitting conclusion to a performance that will be remembered long after EFC 139.

For Mkhwanazi, who had confidently predicted a victory of his own, the result was a bitter disappointment. For Hinda, it was the biggest statement of his young professional career.

But the main event was only the final chapter of a night defined by extraordinary determination, explosive finishes and athletes refusing to surrender.

In the co-main event, Nasiphi “The Honey Badger” Vellem produced an outstanding display of pressure and precision against the previously undefeated Grant Farrow. Vellem stalked his opponent throughout the lightweight contest, repeatedly connecting with sharp combinations to the head and body. Farrow suffered a cut around his eye during the opening round, but continued to fire back with head kicks, powerful punches and relentless determination. Despite absorbing significant punishment, Farrow refused to retreat, making it to the final bell in a contest that showcased both Vellem’s striking ability and his opponent’s extraordinary resilience. Vellem secured a unanimous decision and a Performance Bonus, while Farrow’s courage was recognised with an Additional Bonus.

If the co-main event demonstrated the importance of heart, the opening bout of the main card took that theme to another level. Ayanda Zwane and Yaseen Adams delivered an unforgettable featherweight contest that earned both athletes Fight of the Night honours. Zwane’s crisp boxing, speed and timing repeatedly found their target, but Adams simply would not stop coming forward. Even as the damage accumulated and one eye became badly swollen, Adams continued to answer with strikes of his own, refusing to concede defeat. An accidental blow to the back of the head interrupted the third round, but when the action resumed, neither athlete showed any intention of slowing down. With just seconds remaining, Zwane challenged Adams to exchange one final time. Both obliged, trading punches, knees and elbows until the final bell. Zwane earned the unanimous decision, completing a remarkable return to the Hexagon after previously suggesting that his MMA career was over.

Elsewhere on the main card, Angola’s Eduardo Barros produced one of the evening’s most decisive finishes, ending his bantamweight contest against Roevan De Beer with a powerful left hook in the second round. Sisa Jungula also secured an important victory, defeating Micky “The Mouse” Cloete by unanimous decision in their flyweight encounter.

The preliminary card provided its own collection of memorable performances. Former kickboxing rivals Dayne “Quiet Storm” Van Wyk and Charmaine Venter delivered an outstanding women’s featherweight contest, with Van Wyk claiming a unanimous decision and a Performance Bonus. Venter’s contribution to the contest was also recognised with an Additional Bonus. Tyron “CIT Sniper” Lamprecht delivered another spectacular finish, knocking out David Makane with a punch just 2:04 into the opening round to earn a Performance Bonus. Zeca Martinho settled his heated Fight Week rivalry with Godknows Ndlovu by unanimous decision, while Salahuddin “Captain” Plaatjies survived a difficult final round against DR Congo’s Story Mpia Embombe to claim a hard-fought split decision. In the opening contest of the evening, Phillip “Pitbull” Cronje secured a swift submission victory over Andile “The Equaliser” Gasa, finishing the featherweight bout with a guillotine choke in just 49 seconds.
