SheaMoisture and Walmart Bring Sheaversity on the Yard to Five HBCU Campuses

Published

SheaMoisture and Walmart are bringing textured hair education directly to the heart of HBCU life this fall with Sheaversity on the Yard, a first-of-its-kind HBCU tour designed to empower students with the knowledge, resources and confidence to navigate their evolving hair journeys. Building on the Sheaversity platform, the five-campus tour transforms campus gathering spaces into immersive destinations where students can learn more about their hair, discover products tailored to their needs, and gain practical knowledge through interactive experiences, expert guidance and community-centered programming.

Through the Sheaversity curriculum, students can explore learning tracks including Scalp Studies, Moisture 101, Art of Definition and Science of Strength. Celebrity hairstylist and educator Justin Revenge leads the product education and styling experience, alongside a collective of textured hair styling experts providing personalized consultations, styling guidance and educational demonstrations. “When people understand their hair, they show up differently,” Revenge said. “We’re creating access to real education, practical techniques and meaningful conversations that students can take with them long after we leave campus.”

The tour experience also reflects the campus culture around it. Students can discover local food and beverage entrepreneurs through a campus marketplace and engage with peers through The Shea Student Council, a cohort of 25 ambassadors whose stories, leadership and influence help shape campus culture. A special HBCU edition of SheaMoisture’s Yes, And magazine features stories of leadership, creativity, self-expression and personal growth from each campus.

“At SheaMoisture, we’ve always believed textured hair care is about more than products. It’s about confidence, self-expression and having the knowledge to care for your hair on your own terms,” said Brianna Wright, Head of PR, Influencer & Experiential Marketing at SheaMoisture. “The Yard is already a place of learning, connection and self-discovery. With Sheaversity on the Yard, it becomes our classroom, SheaMoisture provides the curriculum, and Walmart serves as the destination that helps students continue their hair journeys long after the tour leaves campus.”

The tour visits Virginia State University on September 14, Jackson State University on September 25–26, North Carolina Central University on October 8–9, Clark Atlanta University on October 15, and North Carolina A&T State University on October 26. SheaMoisture products are available at Walmart stores nationwide and online.

Victoria’s Secret PINK Opens The PINK Mini Bar With First-Ever Beauty Collaborations

Published

Victoria’s Secret PINK is getting into the collaboration game. The brand has launched The PINK Mini Bar, a new beauty destination built around exclusive collaborations with nine fan-favorite brands — the first time PINK has opened its beauty shelves to outside names in this way.

The lineup reads like a viral-beauty honor roll: Patchology, Touchland, Vacation, Mario Badescu, Wet Brush, Kiss, Fazit, Clean Skin Club and SpaLife. The collection debuts with 16 exclusive products priced from $4 to $25, each given the PINK treatment with playful details, signature graphics and limited-edition packaging.

The highlights lean into what each partner does best. Patchology’s under-eye patches arrive dressed in PINK’s signature polka dots and logo, while Touchland’s best-selling Wild Watermelon Hand Sanitizer comes with custom PINK icon stickers. Vacation contributes a trio of its cult-favorite SPF essentials in an exclusive PINK belt bag, Mario Badescu pairs its Watermelon Facial Spray with a custom PINK charm, and Wet Brush’s Mini Detangler gets extra sparkle from pink crystal embellishments. Kiss press-on nails, Fazit’s viral Speckles, Clean Skin Club’s Clean Towels and SpaLife face masks round out the bar.

The concept expands PINK’s beauty offering beyond its core assortment, creating a discovery destination where customers can experiment with skincare staples, haircare must-haves and on-the-go accessories in one place. The PINK Mini Bar launched online at vspink.com on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, and lands in PINK stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, with dedicated beauty sections bringing the collection to life in store.
