“When Your Mom Worked For Diddy” – Jittaun Goes viral on tiktok!
Jittaun – A Journey of Growth, Glitter, and Empowerment
Jittaun went viral earlier this month after posting about her mom who used to work for Diddy. But the artist had no idea any one would care! And they shouldn’t because Jittaun is talented!!!

From the tender age of four, Jittaun knew she was meant for the spotlight. Growing up immersed in music, she wrote her first song as a child, and over the years, her passion for the craft only deepened. However, it wasn’t until 2020, when a producer saw the potential in her, that her musical journey truly began. Inspired by icons like Prince and David Bowie, Jittaun’s pursuit of artistic excellence has led her to create a sound that is as dynamic as it is personal, fusing pop with elements of rock and rap. Now, the independent artist is preparing to take the industry by storm with her unique vision and undeniable talent.
From Dream to Reality: A Glittering Debut
Jittaun’s debut single, Glitter, was born out of a pivotal moment in her life. After meeting the producer Doc in 2020, she had the opportunity to record a song that would ultimately define her entry into the music scene. The song’s title, Glitter, reflects Jittaun’s personal journey of shedding toxic relationships and embracing a brighter, more authentic version of herself. “I was so over fake people and just wanted to dust them off,” she recalls. This empowerment anthem showcases Jittaun’s desire to inspire others to let go of negativity and embrace their true selves.
A Pivotal Milestone: Finding Confidence in ‘Move Ya Body’
For an artist, reaching milestones is often an emotional and defining moment. Jittaun experienced this when her single Move Ya Body hit 100,000 streams, a benchmark that solidified her belief in her ability to make it in the music industry. “Being an independent artist means living in limbo,” she reflects. Yet, this achievement propelled her forward, giving her the confidence to continue pursuing her dreams with unwavering determination.
Evolving and Empowering
Over time, Jittaun’s evolution as an artist has been a testament to her growth both personally and professionally. In the early days, she played it safe with her music, creating catchy, surface-level lyrics designed for TikTok. Now, however, her music reflects deeper, more personal themes—infused with wordplay and her experiences as a woman. Whether it’s love, empowerment, or self-discovery, Jittaun’s songs reflect her journey of growth, and they resonate with her audience in powerful ways.
Pop Fusion with a Message
Jittaun describes her sound as “pop fusion,” a genre that pulls from rock, rap, and other eclectic influences. But what makes her music stand out is its emotional depth and universal appeal. Her songs may sound different, but they share one common goal: to evoke joy and empower listeners. She draws inspiration from a wide range of artists—from Prince to Donna Summer to Earth, Wind & Fire—each helping to shape her distinctive style.
Through her music, Jittaun aims to inspire others to embrace self-love, let go of what no longer serves them, and live authentically. It’s a message that shines through in tracks like Flowers, which tells the story of a complicated relationship where she felt she lost a part of herself. By the end of the song, Jittaun reclaims her power, delivering a raw and empowering message to her listeners.
A Hands-On Creative Vision
When it comes to her creative process, Jittaun is fully immersed from start to finish. Her songwriting is an introspective journey, often starting with a feeling or concept that she builds on with lyrics and melodies. She loves experimenting with different sounds, ensuring each song feels fresh and distinct. Her studio sessions are where the magic happens, transforming her ideas into a dynamic, polished final product.
Working with ON-E Records has given Jittaun the creative freedom to explore and push boundaries. As part-owner of the label, she’s proud of the synergy between her values and the company’s vision of positive, inclusive content. Their policy on excluding the N-word in music stands out to Jittaun, reflecting a commitment to respect and authenticity that mirrors her own approach to artistry.
What’s Next: A Global Vision and Uncharted Territory
Jittaun’s ultimate goal as an artist is ambitious. She dreams of platinum and diamond albums, sold-out stadiums, and a global fanbase. With each new project, she’s getting closer to achieving that dream. Her next release will venture into uncharted territory with a dance/electronic vibe, and she’s excited to push her creative boundaries even further. Collaborations with other artists are also on the horizon, as are performances that will allow her to reconnect with fans in person.
Despite her growing success, Jittaun remains grounded, balancing her music career with her passion for social justice and community work. She’s currently involved in Kamala Harris’s campaign, and she’s committed to using her platform for positive change. Outside of music, she enjoys content creation, staying active through dance, and exploring the world of fashion.
For Jittaun, the best part of performing live is the energy exchange with the audience. It’s a moment where she feels fully connected to her fans, feeding off their excitement and knowing her music resonates with them in real-time. Looking ahead, Jittaun sees herself evolving into an even more powerful artist, pushing boundaries vocally, lyrically, and creatively.
As Jittaun continues to carve her path, one thing is clear: her music is more than just sound—it’s a celebration of life, resilience, and the power of being true to oneself. With her dynamic sound, unshakable vision, and unwavering dedication, Jittaun is an artist whose journey is only just beginning.

Michele Ducci teases new album with uplifting indie single ‘Woman Like You’
Michele Ducci has unveiled the second single, ‘Woman Like You’, from his forthcoming album and animated film ‘Snail in the Clouds’.
‘Woman Like You’ pairs bright distorted electric guitar with an electronic drumbeat, adding in Ducci’s soulful vocals and a catchy uplifting chorus with Letizia Mandoleisi’s sweet vocal harmonies. A vintage organ pedalboard operated by Ducci simultaneously generates chords, bass and rhythm, like a one-man band. Shane Kennedy (Girl in the Year Above) joins in on guitar. Simon Milner (Is Tropical, Ysing) recorded and produced the track at his 4am Studios in London.
The album and film tell the story of a planet called ‘Snail’, inhabited by hybrids – primarily a mixture between scorpions, snails and humans – who lead a life according to the style of Pythagoras, devoted to music. There is also a cloud man named Agostos, a writer of musical operettas, who together with a talking smoke machine called Doctor Subtilis, begins to kill all hybrids, targeting in particular the hybrid musician Diodoros and his band, in an effort to steal the ark of melodies, an ancient ship that allows the whole planet to survive with music and joy.
The video for the single, created and animated by Ducci and Mandoleisi, delves further into the realm of planet ‘Snail’:
Says Ducci, “The ark of melodies, after various attempts, finally starts to work and fly in the planet Snail, while the shady Doc. Sub. and Agostos, with their platoon of soldiers made of foggy smoke, spy the miracle, planning to steal the ark for their evil and tyrannical purposes.”
About the track, Michele says, “I wrote this song for my love Letizia. Love seen from the mind is the sound we make. Sound is the love of matter.
We used a Technics synthesizer organ from a flea market. I tried to find a mood that was right for the song and I started using the bass of the pedal board together with the synth and the drums, and it was magical to hear the song reveal itself all coming from a single instrument. Leti was singing with me and we recorded everything live in one shot. Then we made Shane do the guitar flight, as if he came out of the window. The idea was to maintain disproportions, guitar thrust and synth drum thinness a la Haroumi Hosono, so as to create an estrangement, but naturally: it’s about how I listen, with close up something that captures me in its nuance as element of a larger orchestra somewhere. I’m glad we decided in the studio with Simon to use the layers of arrangement as the close-ups in the cinema; they look like strange enlargements that perch on parts of a mutated orchestra. I’m happy to come back with this love song at a time when everything seems to opt, even my labor in managing the flows of selfishness that have poured out on me while doing this album, for the sound of war. I’m here happy to be able to say that the sound of love always wins as did for me. Snail in the clouds is one of the most important works in my life and I am glad to start from pure love for this album that is my son.”
The album and full-length film will be released on the 5th of June on Monotreme Records.
Michele and Letizia’s previous musical short film, ‘The Great Book of Nature’, is an official selection for the 2026 Venice Shorts Film Festival.
