Sol de Janeiro Answers Its Fans With Intense Perfume Mists — And a New Cheirosa 74

Published

on

Sol de Janeiro built its name on fragrance mists, and now it is turning the volume up. The brand has introduced Intense Perfume Mists, a new format created in direct response to its community’s number one request: richer, longer-lasting versions of the scents they already love, delivering up to 10 hours of wear.

The line reimagines three cult favorites in more concentrated form. Cheirosa 62 Intense wraps roasted pistachio and vanilla absolute in the brand’s signature solar ambery accord, while Cheirosa 59 and Cheirosa 91 also return in the deeper format. Joining them is an entirely new scent, Cheirosa 74 Intense, a golden gourmand built on ripe pineapple, bright orange flower and that same solar ambery base.

Chief executive Jordan Saxemard framed the launch as the next chapter of prestige body fragrance, saying the community’s relationship with scent had deepened and the appetite for a longer-lasting format was clear. The brand positions Intense as more than a line extension — it is an answer to how a new generation wants to wear fragrance: expressive, sensorial and able to keep up with every part of the day, while keeping the joy and ease that made the original Cheirosa mists iconic.

The Intense Perfume Mists rolled out nationwide online and in store with retail partners Boots, Lookfantastic, Sephora and Space NK on October 12, following the format’s earlier debut with the brand’s U.S. community. For fans who have been layering the originals to make them last, the message is simple: your favorite scents, turned all the way up.

Haus Labs’ Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil Puts Skincare First With a Waterless Liquid Bronzer

Published

on

Haus Labs is making the case that bronzer should behave like skincare. Lady Gaga’s brand has launched the Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil, a waterless liquid bronzer with a serum-like texture, made with 70 percent skincare ingredients and designed to deliver sheer, believable warmth rather than an obvious stripe of color.

The formula is built to work as hard as it wears. Haus Labs says the veil is waterproof, sweat-proof and humidity-proof, with up to 12 hours of even wear, medium coverage and a natural finish. Inside, hyaluronic filling spheres, phytosqualane, fermented arnica and wakame extract work to hydrate and support the skin barrier while the color is on. The application is deliberately simple: dot the wand where the sun would naturally hit — forehead, cheekbones, the bridge of the nose — then tap and blend out with a brush, building to intensify the bronze.

Shade range is a headline in itself. The Bronzing Veil comes in 11 shades running from Sand and Golden through Sienna, Playa and Rich to Mahogany, Oasis and Mirage, an inclusive spread the brand demonstrates across skin tones. The formula is vegan, and the tube format makes it easy to control exactly how much warmth goes on.

The Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil is priced at $32 and is available at hauslabs.com and Sephora US, where it arrived in early October. For anyone who has ever overdone it with powder bronzer, Haus Labs is pitching a softer way back into the sun — no actual sun required.
