Foghat Turn It Up Live With New Album Live and Loud Across the USA
More than five decades after first bringing their signature blues rock sound to audiences, Foghat are proving that the music is alive and louder than ever. The band released Live and Loud Across the USA on October 30, 2026 through Foghat Records, distributed by Select O Hits, a division of Sun Records.
The album marks the first live release featuring the current lineup of founding drummer Roger Earl, guitarist Bryan Bassett, lead vocalist and guitarist Scott Holt and bassist Rodney O Quinn. Recorded during the band’s tours across America in 2024 and 2025, the collection captures the energy, musicianship and unmistakable blues driven sound that have made Foghat a concert favorite since 1971.
To celebrate the release, the band also unveiled a new performance video for I Just Want to Make Love to You, the Willie Dixon blues classic that Foghat first recorded for its 1972 debut album. The video features vintage band photographs, tributes to Dixon and memories from the group’s 2023 visit to the Blues Heaven Foundation in Chicago.
Earl is clear about why this record matters to the band. He says he loves playing with this group, that they have a blast on stage and off, and that many of these songs have never been recorded live before. The special triple vinyl edition includes two gold records featuring live performances of fan favorites such as My Babe, Road Fever, Sweet Home Chicago and It Hurts Me Too. A bonus red vinyl record presents Shaken and Stirred, the fan favorite Earl and the Agitators project, on vinyl for the first time.
Foghat are not slowing down. The band continues touring throughout 2026 and into 2027, with new dates still being announced for the months ahead. Live and Loud Across the USA is available now.

Queens of the Stone Age Embrace Imperfection on New Album Perfecth
Queens of the Stone Age have released Perfecth, their ninth studio album, out now through Matador Records. The album arrived on October 30, 2026, and its title is the thesis: the word perfect with a flaw deliberately built in, reflecting Josh Homme’s view that perfection is ultimately unattainable.
The nine track record was produced by Homme with bassist Michael Shuman and recorded during sessions in New Orleans and Los Angeles. Its songs explore different forms of love, loss and recovery, and the band chased spontaneity in the studio: Insignificant Other, the album’s centerpiece and second single, was captured in only two takes, preserving the live charge of Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore playing in a room. The first preview, Easy Street, features Nikki Lane. The full tracklist runs It’s Only Love, Where The Goth Girls At?, Mono, From the Cliff, Sunday, Easy Street, Phantom Limb, Run Away From The Mob and Insignificant Other. The album is available digitally and on CD and vinyl, with a limited deluxe edition offering additional packaging and artwork.
The release extends a huge year on the road. The band returned in September for North American stadium dates with Foo Fighters and plays a sold out Laugardalshöll in Iceland during release week, with headline performances ahead in Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, and a Perfecth World Tour now rolling out. Perfecth is streaming now. Nine albums in, the band still sounds like nobody else on earth, and that refusal to sand down the edges is exactly the point.
