Eternal Palace Sakura Brings Its Roguelite Dungeon Climb to PC and Switch on November 4

Retla dual-wielding blades mid-combo against a shadowy enemy in a Japanese-style hall in Eternal Palace Sakura.

Eternal Palace Sakura, the 3D action roguelite dungeon crawler from publisher Shochiku, launches on November 4 for PC and Nintendo Switch. Players climb an endless tower inside a dream labyrinth, fighting through procedurally generated corridors in an anime-inspired adventure where every run is different.

The heroine is Retla, a cat-eared warrior who battles through the palace wielding dual blades. Combat is built around fast combos and well-timed dodges, letting players chain attacks together as enemies swarm the narrow halls, and positioning matters as much as reflexes when the labyrinth turns hostile and the exits close in.

Because the labyrinth is procedurally generated, no two climbs are ever the same. Corridors, enemy placements and encounters shift with every attempt, so a memorized route only helps so much. The tower’s Mugen Depth system raises the danger the deeper players push, and the greater risk brings greater rewards for those who manage to survive it.

Boss battles guard the way upward, testing everything players have learned on the floors below. Dedicated endgame challenges wait beyond the standard climb, giving experienced players tougher fights to master, and each defeat sends Retla back to the bottom to try again, carrying the knowledge of the last attempt into the next one.

With its bright anime-inspired presentation and fast, repeatable runs, Eternal Palace Sakura aims squarely at roguelite fans who enjoy learning a dungeon one attempt at a time, unlocking the tower’s secrets floor by floor. It launches on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on November 4.

The simultaneous PC and Switch release means players can start the climb on either platform on day one, with the same endless tower, the same bosses and the same Mugen Depth waiting in both versions.

For fans of action roguelites looking for their next run-based obsession, November 4 is the date to mark.

Beyond the Mist Brings Its Cursed Lighthouse Horror to Steam, Switch Version on November 19

Beyond the Mist, the horror adventure from developer Yliader and publisher RAWRLAB Games, is out now on Steam. The game launched on October 31 priced at $5.99, with an introductory discount of 40 percent bringing it to $3.59 until November 7, and a Nintendo Switch version follows on November 19.

Players take the role of Arthur Webb, an aging lighthouse keeper trapped inside a cursed lighthouse. With the light failing and the mist closing in, Arthur has to find a way out of a place that no longer obeys the rules of the world outside.

Escape means searching the lighthouse room by room for items and clues, solving puzzles and making key decisions along the way. Those decisions matter: the story can end in three different ways, and not all of them lead Arthur safely out of the mist, so every choice is worth thinking about before it is made.

The game is a reimagining of the Game Boy title The Mist, rebuilt as a modern horror adventure while keeping the spirit of the original intact. Its 8-bit-style soundtrack, composed by Gjoll, leans into that heritage, wrapping the lighthouse in chiptune dread that suits its pixel-art presentation.

For horror fans, the Halloween launch was well timed, and the low price makes it an easy recommendation for a single evening’s play. The Switch release on November 19 means handheld players get their turn inside the lighthouse just a few weeks later.

Short, focused and built around atmosphere rather than jump scares, Beyond the Mist is a compact horror story for players who like their scares slow and strange. It is available now on PC via Steam, with the Nintendo Switch version arriving on November 19.
