Telemundo’s longest running sports competition is coming back bigger: Exatlón Estados Unidos opens its eleventh season, Arena Extrema, on Tuesday, December 8 at 7pm/6c, with 20 athletes split between the Red and Blue teams and Frederik Oldenburg back as host.

The arena is heating up once again! Exatlón Estados Unidos, the longest-running sports competition on U.S. Spanish-language television, returns to Telemundo for its eleventh season, premiering Tuesday, December 8 at 7pm/6c. Under the slogan ARENA EXTREMA (Extreme Arena), this new edition promises to take adrenaline, rivalry, physical and mental endurance to a whole new level, as 20 athletes divided into the iconic Red and Blue teams prepare to risk it all to conquer the most demanding arena yet. Two opposing forces, fire and water, will once again collide in an intense battle where every victory is earned at the limit and every challenge becomes a fight for supremacy.

Frederik Oldenburg returns to lead this new edition, celebrating his eighth season as host of Exatlón Estados Unidos and solidifying his role as one of the franchise’s most recognizable personalities. Throughout his career at Telemundo, he has also served as a guest host on Hoy Día, contributed to the network’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, and appeared as a guest host on the last season of Peacock’s Love Island USA, filmed in Fiji.

What Can Viewers Expect from the New Season of Exatlón Estados Unidos?

Season 11 will bring together 20 contestants divided into the Red and Blue Teams, including renowned Olympic medalists, professional athletes, and international sports champions. In this new chapter, competitors will return to the legendary arenas that have hosted some of the franchise’s most memorable battles, now featuring even more extreme obstacle courses that will demand speed, strength, precision, endurance, and unwavering determination. Each athlete will have to push beyond their limits while fighting for their team’s glory and the coveted title of Exatlón Estados Unidos champion, along with a grand cash prize.
