Gucci Mane Returns With ‘Against All Odds,’ His 18th Studio Album
Gucci Mane keeps the streak alive. The Atlanta trap pioneer released Against All Odds on Friday, October 16, through 1017 and Atlantic Records — his 18th studio album, a milestone few rappers in any era can match.
The 17-track project is lean on guests by design. Summer Walker lends her voice, OJ da Juiceman — a day-one 1017 affiliate — makes an appearance, and Ice Davis joins the lineup as well. The rest of the album belongs to Gucci, whose catalog has always been built on volume, consistency and an ear for what the streets want next.
The rollout was led by the single “CRASH DUMMY,” which set the tone ahead of release week. Gucci announced the drop date the way he has announced so much of his career — directly to the fans, posting the news himself on Instagram and letting the 1017 faithful spread the word.
The album’s closing track carries the mission statement in its title: “1017.” Named for the label Gucci founded and turned into one of Atlanta’s defining imprints, the finale ties the new record back to the brand he has carried from the mixtape era to the streaming era.
Eighteen albums in, Against All Odds is less a comeback than a reminder. Gucci Mane remains one of hip-hop’s most prolific architects — and he is still building.
There is also a statement in how the record was rolled out. Gucci announced the date on Instagram himself, the cover and tracklist followed on his own channels, and the album arrived on his own 1017 imprint alongside Atlantic — a veteran artist running his own release like an independent, two decades after he helped invent the blueprint for exactly that.

GloRilla Announces New Single “Jiggly Bow Bow” with Sexyy Red, Out November 6
GRAMMY-nominated Memphis powerhouse GloRilla has announced her upcoming single, “Jiggly Bow Bow” with multiplatinum-selling rap sensation Sexyy Red, out November 6 via Yo Gotti’s CMG label and Interscope Records. Alongside the release date, the artists also unveiled the official cover artwork.
Teased in the months leading up to its release, “Jiggly Bow Bow” has been building anticipation ever since listeners first got a taste of what the two had up their sleeves. In a snippet shared on social media last week, GloRilla and Sexyy Red dressed up as elderly women while rapping along to the upcoming record.

“Jiggly Bow Bow” extends what has become a remarkable run of collaborations between GloRilla and Sexyy Red. The pair first teamed up on “WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME” from the Memphis native’s 2024 debut album, GLORIOUS, before reuniting on Tyler, The Creator’s GRAMMY-nominated “Sticky” later that year. They subsequently joined Monaleo on Summer Walker’s “Baller,” with Chris Brown bringing the dynamic duo together once more for May’s “Call Your Name.”
The multiplatinum recording artist continues to enjoy the success of her blockbuster debut album, GLORIOUS, which delivered the highest first-week sales for a female rapper on the Billboard 200 in 2024. Outside of music, GloRilla recently launched GloVerse, her on-demand marketplace giving consumers the ability to find and book verified beauty professionals.
With “Jiggly Bow Bow” slated to arrive next month, GloRilla and Sexyy Red are further cementing their places as two of hip-hop’s leading ladies.
