South Korean alternative band HYUKOH return with 33, their first solo album in nearly seven years, arriving November 25, and a 2027 world tour that brings their first United States performances since Coachella in 2019.

HYUKOH announce their new album, 33, arriving November 25, alongside details of a 2027 world tour. Marking their first US performances since their appearance at Coachella in 2019, the tour will kick off in Seoul in January, with dates across Asia, North America in March and April, and London to follow.

33 continues the numerical sequence established by the band’s earlier releases, including 20, 22, 23 and 24. Their first solo album in nearly seven years, the record marks a deliberate shift in direction and a new chapter in HYUKOH’s evolution, reflecting a band entering a new stage of both their personal and creative lives.

More than a decade after their breakthrough, HYUKOH have grown from a defining voice in South Korea’s burgeoning indie scene into one of the country’s most distinctive and internationally recognized alternative bands. Emerging from Seoul’s Hongdae club circuit, the four-piece quickly struck a chord with a generation of young people navigating an era of social pressure and uncertainty, building a following that would eventually extend far beyond their home country.

Led by the enigmatic OHHYUK, the band is completed by HYUNJAE (guitar), DONGGEON (bass), and INWOO (drums), the band has spent the past decade carving out a singular musical identity, moving fluidly between genres and resisting easy categorization. Across a celebrated run of releases, HYUKOH have continually expanded their sound while cementing their place as one of South Korea’s most compelling musical exports.

After the release of 2020 EP through love, HYUKOH stepped back from the relentless momentum that had defined their rise. Their return came in the form of AAA, a full-length collaboration with Sunset Rollercoaster, one of the most influential names in Taiwan’s indie rock scene.

Now, 2026 has seen HYUKOH return to the international stage with renewed momentum. They sub-headlined Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival beneath Massive Attack, co-headlined Mongolia’s Playtime Festival alongside Stereolab, and appeared on the Fuji Rock Festival bill in Japan alongside Turnstile and The xx. December will bring another major international appearance at Hong Kong’s Clockenflap, where they will share the bill with Slowdive, Keshi and Hayley Williams.

The arrival of 33 is preceded by a series of singles offering glimpses into the album’s expansive sonic world. “Godspeed!” arrived in August, accompanied by a video directed by rafhoo, followed by “KoK”, an eight-minute odyssey in collaboration with DJ Yu Su. Most recently, “losing day” (co-produced by Tseng Kuo-hung from Sunset Rollercoaster) paired swaggering rhythms with a reflective meditation on changing times and the unpredictability of life.

The album artwork continues HYUKOH’s ongoing collaboration with artist Minjeong An, who in 2025 became the youngest Korean artist to have work enter the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

Brothers Osborne is a Grammy winning country duo, and TJ and John Osborne headline the 12th Annual CoreyFest at House of Blues Boston on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

CoreyFest is an annual Boston benefit concert tradition, and this year the brothers bring a live show built on songs like “Stay a Little Longer,” “It Ain’t My Fault,” “21 Summer” and “Younger Me.”

The Maryland born duo has won multiple CMA and ACM awards alongside their Grammy, and their twin attack of TJ’s baritone and John’s guitar work has made them one of country music’s most respected live acts.
