Trevor Lawrence threw for 242 yards and a touchdown, Cam Little kicked four field goals and the Jacksonville Jaguars forced three turnovers in a 33-10 rout of the Baltimore Ravens on a rainy Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium.
Jacksonville (6-2) struck on the game’s opening possession, when Lawrence found tight end Nate Boerkircher for 52 yards on the second play from scrimmage to set up Bhayshul Tuten’s 1-yard touchdown run at the end of a seven-play, 77-yard drive. The Jaguars never trailed. Little added field goals of 36 and 45 yards, and Lawrence closed the half with a 50-yard touchdown pass to Parker Washington with 58 seconds left for a 17-3 lead.
Little connected from 47 and 33 yards in the second half, and Chris Rodriguez Jr. scored on a 2-yard run with 7:26 remaining after Jalen McLeod recovered a fumble on a kickoff return. Montaric Brown and Jourdan Lewis each intercepted a pass, with both takeaways leading to field goals, and Jacksonville held Baltimore to 227 total yards. The Jaguars have won five of their last six games, lead the AFC South and have allowed 10 or fewer points in back-to-back games.
The Ravens (4-5) lost their fourth straight game with undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano making his first NFL start, as Lamar Jackson remains on injured reserve with a thumb injury and Tyler Huntley was also out with a toe injury. Fagnano finished 10 of 18 for 60 yards with two interceptions.
Justice Hill provided Baltimore’s only touchdown on a 65-yard run with 7:08 left and finished with 92 total yards. Derrick Henry ran for 57 yards on 17 carries and moved into seventh place on the NFL’s career rushing list with 13,707 yards, passing Jerome Bettis and LaDainian Tomlinson. Jake Moody kicked a 53-yard field goal, and safety Kyle Hamilton left the game with a hip injury. Baltimore has been outscored 84-10 in second halves during its four-game losing streak.
Reports this week have linked the Ravens to a trade with Arizona for quarterback Jacoby Brissett, but the deal was not completed in time for Thursday’s game.

Lamar Jackson to Undergo Thumb Surgery, Headed to Injured Reserve
Lamar Jackson’s return to the Baltimore Ravens lasted exactly one play. The two-time MVP will undergo surgery on his right thumb and be placed on injured reserve, head coach Jesse Minter confirmed, after Jackson was injured on the Ravens’ first offensive play of Sunday’s 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Jackson, playing his first game back after missing three games with a left ankle injury, threw an incomplete pass on Baltimore’s opening play and his throwing hand struck the wrist of Bills pass rusher Greg Rousseau on the follow-through. He did not return to the game and was later seen with a splint on the thumb. Minter declined to specify whether the thumb is broken or dislocated.
“When you lose your quarterback early, we lost him on the first play. That’ll be a surgery deal. He’ll go to IR,” Minter said. “You know, that’s a tough deal.” Asked whether the injury could end Jackson’s season, Minter said: “Potentially. We’ll see where it goes.”
Going on injured reserve sidelines Jackson for a minimum of four games, starting with Thursday night’s home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Baltimore’s quarterback problems deepened on Sunday when backup Tyler Huntley suffered a turf toe injury in the second quarter against Buffalo. Huntley has been ruled out for Thursday, leaving undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano in line to make his first NFL start. Fagnano completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards with an interception in relief on Sunday, and he is himself limited by an ankle injury, although Minter said he expects the rookie to have a chance to play Thursday.
The Ravens are 4-4, and they are 3-1 this season in games Jackson has been healthy enough to play most of the way, compared with 1-3 when he has not. With the NFL trade deadline set for Nov. 10, Baltimore’s front office now has a quarterback decision to make as well: whether to add a veteran for the stretch Jackson misses, or ride with Fagnano until the franchise quarterback can return.
