A cupcake is a lovely thing to sell in a patisserie. In Acornia, it can also be a projectile, and that tells you most of what you need to know about this adventure.

Developer Splashteam, the studio behind Tinykin, and publisher Dotemu have unveiled a brand-new trailer for Acornia: Mirror Worlds, the dungeon crawler meets action-adventure shop manager launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 next year.

Players step into the paws of Alva, a lively patisserie shopkeep living in a once-carefree village that is now plagued by corruption. The mysterious influence has driven the town’s inhabitants away and pulled parts of Alva’s colorful home into a dangerous alternate dimension called Duramen, and it is up to her to fix it.

The new trailer gives a fresh look at the shop management, baking and farming headed to the game next year, alongside the dungeon crawling that Alva uses those tasty treats for. The treats are not all for eating, after all. Sometimes a cupcake is also a projectile.

The trailer, titled A Season-ing Trailer, also confirms a Spring 2027 window on its official YouTube posting by The Arcade Crew.

Acornia: Mirror Worlds is available to wishlist on Steam now, ahead of its launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 next year.
