St. Thomas Aquinas visits West Broward on Friday night to close the regular season. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., according to the West Broward schedule on MaxPreps.

Aquinas enters at 9-0 and West Broward enters at 3-5 on the published records for Week 11. The Palm Beach Post reported Aquinas has scored at least 48 points in three consecutive games and ends the regular season at West Broward on Friday, Oct. 30.

USA TODAY reported the same form line. Aquinas is coming off a 56-12 win over Flanagan, its third straight blowout win, and has a chance to make it four in a row to close the regular season. That report also gave West Broward its due, noting the Bobcats enter this game off back-to-back wins and have been playing better.

West Broward is coached by Brian McCartney, according to Larry Blustein coverage of the Bobcats this season. GoFan lists this Oct. 30 game as West Broward Bobcats vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, with a 7 p.m. start.

The task for the home team is clear and steep. West Broward has to slow down an unbeaten team that has been scoring in bunches, on the last night of the regular season. Aquinas, meanwhile, is one win from finishing 10-0.

Harrison at McEachern: Hoyas Visit the Indians for a Cobb County Friday Night

Harrison visits McEachern on Friday night in Powder Springs, in a Cobb County region game between two programs that know each other well.

McEachern’s schedule tells a strong October story. The Indians won at Hillgrove 27-24 and beat Campbell 38-6 in region play earlier this month, per MaxPreps results. That is a home team that has won a close one and a comfortable one, which is exactly the range a team needs at this point in the season. At home on Friday, McEachern will expect to set the physical tone.

Harrison’s job is to disrupt that comfort. The Hoyas need to match McEachern at the line of scrimmage, stay patient on offense, and avoid falling behind early in a tough road environment. In Cobb County region play, a two-score hole on the road is a hard climb.

If Harrison can keep this close into the second half, the pressure moves to the home team. If McEachern starts fast, the Indians can lean on the formula that has worked all month. Harrison at McEachern kicks off Friday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m.
