The Digimon Card Game is making the jump to phones. Bandai has opened pre-registration for DIGIMON ALYSION, the first full mobile version of its popular trading card game, in 49 countries and regions, ahead of a planned release later in 2026. The game will be free to play with in-app purchases on iOS and Android.

DIGIMON ALYSION is set in the world of DIGIMON LIBERATOR, the webcomic and light novel series published free on the Digimon Card Game’s official website. The mobile game expands the card game with exclusive new cards that cannot be found in the physical game, alongside a brand-new Story Mode built for the app. In Story Mode, players follow Kanata Hondo, a newcomer to the card game, as she learns the rules and systems with support from her best friend Futre, guided through the in-game systems as the story unfolds.

Bandai has assembled a notable voice cast for the mode. Kanata Hondo is voiced by Shu Uchida, Futre by Hikari Kubota, guild master Valner Dragnogh by Fairouz Ai, her partner Digimon Renamon by Miyuki Sawashiro, and the LIBERATOR guide Aliol by Ayumu Murase.

Beyond the story content, Bandai is positioning ALYSION as a complete competitive TCG. The release promises deep gameplay supporting a wide variety of viable decks, with battle and strategy systems designed for competitive play including ranked matches and tournaments. The app will support Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean, with card text available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese and Korean.

The physical Digimon Card Game has built a thriving competitive community since its launch, and ALYSION gives that community a digital home while offering new players a guided on-ramp through its story mode. Pre-registration is open now on the App Store and Google Play.

One Piece: Grand Gourmet Serves Up a Restaurant Adventure With 400 Characters

The Straw Hat Crew is getting into the restaurant business. One Piece: Grand Gourmet, a restaurant-management simulation from developer Kairosoft and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, has launched worldwide for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, iOS and Android.

Players take charge of Baratie Number Two, the Straw Hat Crew’s floating eatery, with Sanji, the crew’s famously devoted cook, installed as head chef. In classic Kairosoft fashion, the game blends approachable management systems with deep customization: more than 400 One Piece characters appear as staff and customers, and over 200 decoration items let players design a restaurant that matches their own taste, from the layout of the dining room to the menu it serves.

The simultaneous worldwide launch is unusual for a licensed anime title, which often staggers Japanese and Western releases by weeks or months. Bandai Namco instead released Grand Gourmet globally on a single day across five platforms, bringing the game to console, PC and mobile audiences at once. On PC, the game is priced at €19.99 on Bandai Namco’s European store, with US pricing reported at $19.99.

Kairosoft has spent decades perfecting the cozy management sim, building a catalogue of pixel-art business games covering everything from game studios to hot springs resorts, and Grand Gourmet applies that formula to one of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world. For One Piece fans, the appeal is in the details: hundreds of familiar faces walking through the door of a restaurant you built, with Sanji running the kitchen the way only Sanji would.

One Piece: Grand Gourmet is available now on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, the App Store and Google Play.
