Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Adds Tokyo Revengers’ Mikey and Draken on October 22

South Town is getting a visit from the Tokyo Manji Gang. SNK has revealed character showcase trailers for Manjiro “Mikey” Sano and Ken “Draken” Ryuguji, the leader and vice leader of Tokyo Revengers, who join the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves roster on October 22 as the fourth and fifth fighters of Season Pass 3.

Both characters arrive with their moves, animations and special intros built to match their anime counterparts. Mikey is voiced by Aleks Le in English and Yu Hayashi in Japanese; Draken is voiced by Sean Chiplock in English and Katsuya Fukunishi in Japanese.

The crossover comes with story content, not just two roster slots. Both fighters receive their own Arcade Mode stories — the Sacred Scrolls pull them into South Town, where Mikey goes looking for Geese Howard’s legacy — and they share an Episodes of South Town story in which Krauser kidnaps Rock Howard and the pair set out to rescue him.

The timing is deliberate. October 22 is also the day City of the Wolves launches on Nintendo Switch 2, arriving digitally as a $19.99 standard edition or a $29.99 Starter Edition with all season passes included; a physical Starter Edition follows on January 21, 2027. Season Pass 3 itself costs $19.99, while the Revenge Edition — the base game plus Season Passes 1 through 3 — is $49.99 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The anime side of the collaboration is current, too: Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc premiered on October 2. And Season Pass 3 has one chair left — SNK has separately confirmed Tekken 8’s Reina as its sixth and final fighter, due in December, closing out one of the most eclectic guest rosters in fighting games.

THE FINALS Season 12 “PRIME TIME” Rebuilds Destruction and Adds Solo Showdown

Published

on

THE FINALS has always sold itself on destruction, and Season 12 rebuilds the whole system. “PRIME TIME,” live now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, is the free-to-play game show shooter’s largest update since its 2023 launch, headlined by Gradual Destruction: buildings now bend, sag and partially collapse under damage instead of shattering on cue, while Blast Waves displace objects and deform walls, and smoke and toxic gas have been reworked to interact with the geometry they move through.

The season’s new mode is Solo Showdown, launching in beta as the game’s first dedicated solo tournament. Twelve contestants play three rounds drawn from eight rotating mini-modes — Blast Off!, Heavy Hitters, Boom Brawl, Slam-A-Rama, Sniper Standoff, Winch Wars, Turbo Tussle and One and Gunned — with the four lowest scorers eliminated after each of the first two rounds.

The game show itself gets smarter with Dynamic Commentary, also in beta: announcer Scotty now calls contestants out by name for standout plays such as team wipes and revive streaks, turning the broadcast layer into part of the reward.

Light players get a full new playstyle, the Infiltrator. True Sight reveals opponents through smoke, the Mimic Device disguises a contestant as an object, and the Translocator swaps the player’s position with a marked object. Balance shifts around it: Light builds gain 25 health and Heavy builds lose 25, compressing the gap between the outer classes.

Three arenas — Monaco, Seoul and Skyway Stadium — have been remastered, the HUD and Side Panel redesigned, and sponsor rewards rebuilt around Contracts; the VR currency has been removed entirely. A Frights Galore Halloween wheel covers the seasonal beat.

Three years in, Embark is not coasting on THE FINALS’ formula — PRIME TIME re-engineers the thing the game is famous for, and bets that better destruction keeps the show on air.
